Resident Camp Tours and Conference

The Resident Camp Tours and Conference, which takes place every fall, offers attendees a chance to tour overnight camps in a particular region to experience how other organizations manage their programs and facilities. This year's conference will bring us to Maine to tour camps Takajo, Manitou, Somerset, Laurel, Fernwood, and Laurel South.
These tours offer attendees a chance to visit overnight camps in just a few days. This is a great opportunity to see a variety of camp properties, experience how other organizations run their programs and facilities, re-energize by networking with peers, discuss lessons learned and hot topics from the past summer, and gain new ideas as your off-season planning begins.
The registration fee includes two lunches, two dinners & bus travel between camps. Breakfast, travel, and lodging are not included.
Registration Cost:
Early Bird $199/member; $225/non-member.
After June 13th $225/member, $249/non-member
Camp Tours:
Day 1: Camp Takajo
Day 2: Camps Manitou, Somerset and Laurel
Day 3: Camps Fernwood and Laurel South

Travel x plane: If you plan to travel to Maine via air & want to travel by bus (included in price) please plan to arrive at the airport by 2:30pm EST on September 9th & depart no earlier than 3:15pm on September 11th.
